Founded in 1995, Saraiva Lima & Associados is a medium size law firm that integrates various lawyers and paralegal assistants, including some of foreign nationalities, specialised in different areas of law.

The firm has two offices in the two major business centres in Portugal: the main office is situated in the centre of Lisbon while an office in Porto is operational since 1998.  

Since February 2008, the firm has also an agreement of association with Melo Kemper, Advogados, which is a law firm situated in Lisbon.

The firm mostly advises in matters of commercial and tax law, foreign investment and labour law and has built up during the years a vast expertise in advising companies, both national and foreign, that wish to undertake their business in Portugal or abroad.

The firm is orientated towards a fast and efficient handling of cases, as well as always in search of pragmatic solutions. Transparent billing is considered highly important and therefore based on detailed timesheets, communicated to the client.
