The number of our clients doing business on an international or even global scale is rising steadily. More and more our clients express their need for legal assistance abroad. This development has caused our members to join the Cicero™ League of International Lawyers.

Cicero members have an interest in providing each others clients with prompt and impeccable advice in any aspect of law, especially business law, while preserving the independency of each member firm. They invest in mutual trust and knowledge by different means, among them the bi-annual organisation and attendance of international meetings, the establishment of industry and interest groups and the temporary exchange of legal professionals;

Cicero members are a reliable cost-effective and flexible alternative for international law firms serving clients with international or global operations. The “every man to his trade” principle enables every member firm to do what it is best in: the practising of law in its own local jurisdiction.

Our Dutch hosts for the May 2010 meeting in Amsterdam are organizing a network meeting on 27 May 2010 in the Krasnapolsky hotel in Amsterdam. Most members have decided to attend this special meeting in order to introduce their relations to the world of Cicero. We believe this meeting to be of special interest for those who plan to enter into international relations with Dutch parties, branch, trade and export organizations and for those who are actually in business in one ore more countries where member firms are located.

The meeting offers ample opportunity for solving questions you may have regarding legal issues in the jurisdictions of your foreign business. Member firms are offering to discuss these questions on your behalf with the lawyers of our other member firms. By that they offer their relations the unique opportunity to get into contact with the legal world abroad.

This service is free of charge, so if you have any intention of doing business in the Netherlands or any other foreign country or have any question relating to foreign (business) law, do not hesitate and fill out the form. We will endeavour to get your questions answered and be in contact with you after our meeting in order to inform you on your requests.

Kind regards,
